Eva’s Modern Senior Session in Downtown Indianapolis
I was dying to shoot a more recent session in Indy & I was so happy when Eva’s step mom reached out and was just as excited about this location as I was. They used to live fairly close to downtown when Eva was really little so it really felt fitting for them!
Downtown Indianapolis is one of my favorite places in central Indiana to shoot pretty much any type of session.
There is just so much charm and so many different various backdrops to work with. There’s not a line for every great photo spot like some of the awesome local parks would have.
When people think “downtown”, they typically think of the industrial, the alleyways, the cityscape… but in reality, there is so much more. Especially in the summer, Indy is filled with tons of great nature backdrops, flowers, fountains, and more! You really can’t go wrong walking and finding amazing spots along any route.
I could sit here and try to convince you with words that Indy is worth the drive from Fishers, Noblesville, Carmel, Pendleton, etc. But the pictures really do speak for themselves. You can scroll through and see just what a wide variety of images she got.
Besides the amazing location, Eva was also great at making small movements in the poses I put her in. These movements or changes in facial expressions are also a huge help in bulking up the amount of images in your gallery. And I know not everyone wants to scroll through hundreds of images I edit, however it IS nice to have those options incase you don’t like a certain face you make or a certain angle. We all have our preferences!!
This is definitely one of my favorite galleries I’ve delivered so far this year. & for my clients who are worried about cloudy weather… during this 90 minute session, the sun only came out for about the last 10 minutes. Cloudy or overcast weather makes for amazing neutral lighting that makes posing and backgrounds easier to navigate. As long as it’s not stormy, we are all good to shoot in cloudy weather - so don’t you worry!
Anyways, peek at what your senior session could look like with LNM :)
