Stephany + Sawyer Get Married - a June wedding at Kennedy Estate

When it comes to weddings in Indiana, I have a hard time deciding if I like summer or fall weddings more. But this one, this was a good one. I’ve been to Kennedy Estate many times & it was so good to be back. They have amazing spots for photos and I really love their ceremony site. Also their bridal suite has beautiful lighting for your getting ready photos.

Stephany and Sawyer decided against a first look, but they wanted to do a first touch and prey together, which was very beautiful. Myself or other vendors may encourage certain things on your wedding day, but it’s important to remember that it’s your day and you have to do what you want. There’s a lot of traditions in the history of weddings, but you don’t have to follow anything. You can do what feels right to you and your partner. Trust me, this will make your day so much less stressful.

When these two finally saw each other at the alter, it was definitely a moment worth remembering. I am so honored I was able to be there to capture it for them.

After portraits, bridal party pictures, and fun at cocktail hour, the party was finally ready to begin. Some of the local barns can be a bit dark inside, especially with pop-up summer storms like this day had in the evening. Despite the storms, we avoided the rain and I came prepared to any lighting situation so the party could be properly documented. And properly documented this was as they partied all night long.
